Meet Our Clinicians
Alabama Counseling & Consulting Services (ACCS) is founded by Lauren Roberts Jones, MS, LPC. We have three clinicians at ACCS, and more information is listed about each clinician below. All of our clinicians strive to provide clients with a nonjudgmental, safe and supportive environment.
Lauren Roberts Jones, MS, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has a wide range of clinical training and experience working with individuals and families. Her specific areas of interests and expertise include, but are not limited to: relationship/family issues, eating disorders, ADHD, depression, anxiety, oppositional defiant disorder and Autism. Therapeutically, she works from an integrative perspective, utilizing a variety of orientations and therapies according to the client's individual needs. Lauren's approach involves unconditional acceptance and understanding toward each client. Lauren has a particular passion working with children, adolescents and young adults as they struggle to define their identities. Lauren's therapeutic philosophy includes working collaboratively with clients and families as a whole, to provide an optimum level of care.
Lee Knight, M.Ed., ALC is an Associate Licensed Counselor who has experience working with individuals and families with diverse presenting problems, including, but not limited to: anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, ASD, eating disorders, psychosis, trauma, and personality disorders. Lee has experience working with young children, adolescents, and adults. Lee utilizes techniques mainly from CBT, Play Therapy, DBT and Person-Centered Therapy. Lee provides a warm environment for clients that is nonjudgmental, empathetic, and centered toward what each individual client needs.
Sarah Grace Stevenson, MFT, is our Marriage & Family Therapist. Sarah Grace works with couples and families to help increase healthy communication skills and learn healthy conflict resolution skills. Sarah Grace helps couples and families recognize unmet needs and help find ways to co-heal vulnerable or insecure feelings and thoughts that may affect relationships. Sarah Grace's philosophy includes working though any unresolved emotional needs that may stem from childhood environments and other relationships in life. Sarah Grace works to help client's identify attachment styles and learn healthy coping skills to increase positive and healthy relationships.
